Russian Avant-garde

For a Visual Communications project we were asked to create a zine. I got inspired by my favourite art movement, the Russian Avant-garde. With paintings and posters by the most famous artists of the movement as inspiration, I created a series of illustrations on fashion figures. Using these black and red lines and blocks on the human body, it reminded me of Instagram’s policy to ban any pictures of women’s breasts from the platform, so I dedicated two of the illustrations to that.
